Mohamed Salah says he is yet to be approached by Liverpool over extending his contract at the club.
The Egypt international has a contract until the summer of 2023 with the Reds, and recently said he wants to stay and continue to break records with Jurgen Klopp’s side.
But speaking in December of last year, Salah also sounded open to the potential of playing in La Liga one day when asked about the prospect by a Spanish newspaper.
That theme then continued during a recent interview with another Spanish publication, Marca, before his side’s Champions League tie with Real Madrid.
The forward described the Spanish side and their arch-rivals Barcelona as two 'great' clubs, but his boss later played down any transfer talk surrounding the 28-year-old.
But speaking ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday, Salah explained he is yet to hold contract talks with the Anfield club.
“No one is talking to me about anything, I can’t say much about that, " he said when asked about a contact extension.
"No one at the club talked to me about anything, so I don’t know."
Since arriving at the club in the summer of 2017 from AS Roma, Salah has helped the Reds to Champions League and Premier League glory.
And when asked what his remaining goals were, the forward explained how he wanted to win both trophies again.
“I want to win a Premier League again. I want to win a Champions League again," he told Sky Sports.
“It is a great thing to win and I want to win it again and again. It is part of our job to win trophies.”
