There has been much speculation about President Trump‘s health since he returned to office, and on a recent episode of The Katie Miller Podcast, RFK Jr. revealed that we have reason to worry, at least based on what the president eats.
On the Jan. 13 episode, Miller asked Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary, “Who has the most unhinged eating habits?” RFK Jr. responded, “The president.” RFK went on to say, “He eats really bad food,” mentioning McDonald’s and candy. “He drinks Diet Coke at all times,” he said. “He has the constitution of a deity. I don’t know how he’s alive.”

Kennedy does say Trump mainly eats like that “on the road” because he trusts food made by a big corporation won’t make him sick. He eats better at Mar-a-Lago, RFK Jr. said, but if you travel with him, “You get this idea he’s just pumping himself full of poison all day long.”
As the Miller clip went viral, comments reflected what RFK Jr. said didn’t come as a surprise to everyone. Responses included, “His body is protected because the poison accumulates in his brain,” Trump’s “unhealthy as f—k and we all know it,” and, “We can tell by looking at him honestly.”

RFK’s podcast appearance aside, Trump’s health has been a point of public discussion and media attention for years, but it has intensified since he resumed office.
At nearly 80 years old, he is the oldest person to hold the U.S. presidency. In recent weeks, Trump addressed concerns about bruising and age-related rumors in interviews, dismissing claims he’d appeared drowsy or unwell and attributing visible bruises to a high-dose aspirin regimen meant to keep his blood “thin.”
Additionally, in early January 2026, Trump acknowledged he has never taken GLP-1 weight-loss medications such as Ozempic — drugs widely discussed for their role in managing weight and diabetes — though he joked that he “probably should.”
Meanwhile, the intersection of Trump and McDonald’s isn’t new. During the 2024 election cycle, Trump staged a highly publicized visit to a McDonald’s in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, where he donned an apron and worked at a fry station as part of a campaign event. While the restaurant was closed to regular customers, Trump used the moment to interact with supporters and hold a drive-through news conference.
As far as what RFK Jr. said, this response proves the HHS secretary didn’t reveal everything there is to know about the president’s health. “And would someone like to explain to RFK Jr also how Donald is clearly getting pumped full of expensive conventional medicine,” the commenter notes, “like whatever is bruising his hands etc.”
