“I do not believe in micro-managing”: Anna Wintour is now teaching fashion classes

You wouldn't be alone in wondering just how Anna Wintour does it all.

Not only is she the Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue, Conde Nast’s Artistic Director and the publisher’s Global Content Advisor, she can now also add ‘mentor’ to her repertoire.

For the first time, Wintour is offering a 12-lesson-course, which is available at MasterClass or via the MasterClass App, and there’s not a whiff of Miranda Priestley in sight.

The lessons will draw on the EIC’s 30+ years at the helm of American Vogue and will give viewers rare insight into the planning of the Met Gala, as well as the inspiration behind many of her most controversial editorial choices, including choosing Madonna for the magazine's cover in 1989 and that 2014 Kim Kardashian and Kanye West appearance in 2014.

About the course, Wintour says: “This is a class for those who want to understand my leadership style and then understand the experiences that have helped me become an effective leader.”

As part of the course Wintour will teach students how to evolve a brand, nurture a team and lead with impact.

Other notable famous faces who have also been featured on MasterClass, an online education company, are photography maven Annie Leibovitz, fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and tennis pro Serena Williams.

Watch the video above for an inside look at Anna Wintour's world.
