I did these three mermaid hair styles using a full hair range worth £100

This years big hair trend is the mermaid wave- and what better way to get the look than with Mermade Hair themselves.

The longer, wavier the look the better for me- so with my recently fitted micro ring extensions I really wanted to trial the natural, beachy look.

The Mermade Hair range I have trialled includes the Quick Dry Brush (£11), Pony Kit (£19), Pink Claw Clip (£5) and the wonderful Pro Waver with 32mm barrel wavers (£59)- all amounting to £94.

With lots of events/places to go over these last two weeks I've been able to have a good play with the styling kit and I'm honestly so impressed.

Look One

You can tell in this style that it is a much more fluffier wave.

I waved smaller sections and lightly brushed out for a fuller, thicker style.

I love these waves for a more casual day time look- and this style just needs fringe touch ups, a spritz of dry shampoo and could last anything up to 4-5 days.

Like with any hair tool, it depends on the thickness, coarseness and general health of your hair on how well it will style/hold under heat.

I have quite fine hair but lots of it- so I feel like mine can hold styles pretty well.

Look Two

I want to have another go of this look with a little more products.

But, as far as I'm concerned, I was pretty happy with how this look turned out.

I had a bottle of Morrocan Oil (100ml available at Look Fantastic for £32.85), with me and lathered ALOT of it on once styled.

I didn't keep the waver on my hair too long with this look, I wanted a more sleek look with just a subtle wave.

The best thing about creating this look is that no amount of oil is too much- the shinier, healthier glowing your hair is the better!

Look Three

I really enjoyed creating look three.

I was invited to the fabulous Oh Polly London Fashion Week Show, so the Mermade Hair waver came in really handy to give me an on trend style.

I kept my fringe back in a half up, half down do, then just waved towards the ends for this natural finished result.

The Mermade hair range verdict ...

I haven't stopped using it.

The Quick Dry Brush is a godsend for my new extensions- I feel like a lot of brushes are not best suited to untangle but this one does without too much of a pull.

Also I am OBSESSED with the claw clip- it's such an old school product but has made a comeback.

It is the best to just do those tussled, relaxed looks with some bits of hair pulled back through the front section.

The waver has helped me find a style which I can honestly say doesn't need much touch ups, because the more you wear it out the more relaxed, pretty the waves go.
