‘I'd tell them' – Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has been given this advice

So good were Nottingham Forest on Saturday in beating Derby County, I’d tell them to get off on holiday for the next few days while they've got a bit of time to relax and unwind.

The weather over here is rubbish, it's cold, wet and miserable.

Go and get some nice sunshine while you can because it’ll be a long slog from when they return for the game at Bristol City, until international breaks return in March - and they'll need to be ready for it, unlike the last break for internationals.

Those results at Wigan and then against Hull were not great, let’s be honest.

When you lose games, all you want is for the players to respond well and that’s exactly what they’ve done.

Beating Luton away from home and then Derby, six points from six, you can’t ask for any more than that.

Once they’re back, it’s imperative Lamouchi and his players focus properly on Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

The Robins are in good form themselves, winning at Cardiff on Saturday and they’ll fancy their chances against Forest.

Both teams are level on points, only separated by goal difference so it looks like being one heck of a contest - coming away from there unbeaten would be terrific.

You’d like to think that given the nature of the game, it’ll command a better performance from Forest than we saw at Wigan last month.

Forest played like they were still in bed, and in these games against the sides around you, that’s not something you can afford.
