'I'd have Oasis playing 'We Are The Champions' behind me': Why this Man Utd fan wants Man City, not Liverpool, to win the Premier League

Is this the future which awaits us all?

A Manchester United fan has revealed why he hopes Manchester City beat Liverpool to the Premier League crown this season, and it's eye-opening stuff.

With United's two bitter rivals tussling over the title, one United fan has firmly nailed his allegiances to the blue half of his city - and paints quite the picture in the process.

Asked on the Manchester Football Social podcast, he replies: "It's an absolute no-brainer for me. I'd turn up and hand City the title myself.

"I'd have Oasis playing 'We Are The Champions' behind me, I'd gift wrap it and I'd be on my knees to hand it to them.

"Because if Liverpool, God forbid, win the league there will be commemorative cups, t-shirt, keyrings... they'll bring out a record and get [John] Barnes to do the rap again.

"They'll bring back the last Liverpool team to win the league and get that team to play this team in a 'Clash of the Champions' game at Wembley.

"It doesn't bear thinking about, I swear to you man. Everyone needs to get behind City."

Oasis or Clash of the Champions, Which would you prefer?
