British singer Lily Allen has made candid revelations about her reproductive experiences during a recent episode of her podcast. The 40-year-old pop star openly discussed her history with pregnancy and abortion in a conversation that has drawn attention for its frank approach to topics often considered taboo.
Allen spoke about her experiences on Tuesday’s episode of her “Miss Me?” podcast, where she was joined by co-host Miquita Oliver. The discussion touched on personal experiences that both women have faced, creating a dialogue about reproductive choices and the lack of judgment they feel in sharing their stories.
“I’d get pregnant all the time, all the time,” Allen revealed during the podcast episode. She went on to explain that she has had multiple abortions, stating she “can’t remember exactly how many” but estimates the number to be around four or five. Her co-host Oliver also shared that she has had a similar number of procedures.
Allen reflects on past relationships and changing perspectives
During the conversation, Allen shared details about one particular experience from her past. She recalled a time when a male partner paid for her abortion, and at the time, she found the gesture romantic. However, her perspective on this experience has since changed significantly.

Imagine thinking it's funny to not know how many of your own children you had killed.

The singer explained that she no longer views such actions as generous or romantic, particularly noting that the man in question never contacted her again after the procedure. This reflection shows how her understanding of these experiences has evolved over time.
Allen described herself in characteristically blunt terms during the podcast, using self-deprecating language to describe her past behavior. She maintains this direct approach to discussing personal topics, which has become a hallmark of her public persona.
Allen is the mother of two daughters, Ethel, 12, and Marnie, 11, whom she shares with her ex-husband Sam Cooper. The former couple was married from 2011 to 2018. Following their divorce, Allen married “Stranger Things” actor David Harbour in 2020.
However, reports surfaced in February that Allen and Harbour have separated. The 50-year-old actor was reportedly seen with 27-year-old model Ellie Fallon in Georgia, following alleged sightings of the pair on a trip to India for New Year’s celebrations.
Neither Allen nor Harbour has publicly commented on their reported breakup. When questioned about his personal life in April, Harbour told GQ Magazine that he prefers to remain ‘protective of the people and the reality of’ his life, a stance shared by many celebrity couples who value their privacy.
