'I'd bet a grand' - Owner confident Liverpool starlet previously at Bristol City will leave in January

Herbie Kane has been tipped to leave Liverpool in January.

The former Bristol City starlet moved to Anfield from the Robins in 2013, but has yet to properly break into the Reds' first team.

He was nominated for the European Golden Boy award alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe last year and went on a successful loan move to League One Doncaster Rovers in 2018/19.

Yet he is yet to make a league appearance for the Reds, and has been heavily linked with a reunion with his old boss at Donny Grant McCann.

McCann is now at Hull City in the Championship and Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony, who knows McCann well from the Hull boss' time in charge at London Road, believes Kane is on his way to the KCOM Stadium.

He tweeted: "I'd bet a grand on him going to Hull in January."
