I could listen to David Corenswet talk about Star Wars and movies for hours

It is rare that you get to see a celebrity actually geek out. Then came David Corenswet. The Superman star made it clear that he will yap about Star Wars and we all will become obsessed with it.

If there is one thing that fans know about David Corenswet, it is that he loves Star Wars. He is unabashedly a nerd about it and has even stated in interviews that if it came down to playing Superman or a Jedi (or an X-Wing pilot), he’d probably go Star Wars. Man loves it. But he also is a nerd about a lot of different things and it is refreshing to see.

The moment I knew that David Corenswet and I would be friends is when he started to complain about Obi-Wan Kenobi training Anakin Skywalker. On Royal Court with host Brittany Broski, Corenswet detailed the best way to show someone new to Star Wars the films (he’s right, it is machete order) and also, in the process, spoke about how Qui-Gon Jinn was the one meant to train Anakin!

If you were thinking that he couldn’t possibly get more nerdy, think again. Not only is Corenswet a theatre kid (he played Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors in high school), but he just tends to be a bit nerdy when he starts talking. Also on Royal Court, he gave his hot take about Casino Royale, the James Bond film. He thinks that Daniel Craig’s Bond already mentally had his 2 kills to become a 00 agent when he committed his second kill at the start of the film. I can see it.

He also brought up The Rehearsal during an interview and now I need to know whether or not he thinks about season 2 every time he flies. I do!

The point is: This is just nice.
