Abdoulaye Doucoure has been labelled the best midfielder in the Premier League after shining in Everton's 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
This high-quality performance was nothing new from the Frenchman, who has taken his game to another level while representing the Blues this campaign.
Doucoure has scored two goals and registered four assists in the opening seven games of the Premier League season, impressing in a more advanced role within Rafael Benitez's side.

The 28-year-old showcased his attacking threat at Old Trafford by driving forwards from midfield to set up Andros Townsend's equalising goal, breezing past Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw in the process.
Doucoure has now been recognised for his contributions, with talkSPORT host Tony Cascarino claiming there is currently nobody better in his position in the entire division.
"I can't think of a better midfielder than Doucoure in the Premier League, in the way he's playing in this advanced role," he said.
"He is really playing well, and you look at United's midfield and think 'that's what they're screaming out for'.
"With his ball to Townsend, I thought it was a great finish."
The French midfielder has even recognised that his game has 'changed' under Benitez and credited the role of the Everton boss in his improvement as a player.
Speaking in a recent interview with evertonfc.com, Doucoure said: "I am very happy with the games I’ve played this season and I am learning with the manager every day.
"Everything changed in my game and my understanding of the game improved.
“The manager gave me a lot of advice – simple advice that makes a difference – and I try to take that on the pitch and help the team as much as I can."
