I Can See Your Voice panel in shock as 'painful' singer steals £10,000 prize

The celebrity panel were left in shock, contestants absolutely gutted and viewers celebrating as a 'painful' singer fooled everyone on Saturday's I Can See Your Voice and won herself £10,000.

Very much cut from the same cloth as The Masked Singer and ITV rival Game of Talents, I Can See Your Voice is a zany entertainment show which has been massively divided opinion since its debut on the BBC last month.

It involves two members of the public playing together to try and sort the bad singers from the good singers, based on their lip syncing abilities and some cryptic clues.

Each week they are assisted by full time panellists Alison Hammond, Amanda Holden and Jimmy Carr and, for episode 3, the trio of famous faces and host Paddy McGuinness, were joined by Boyzone star turned solo singer Ronan Keating.

Things weren't looking too good for this week's contestants Saaj and Sash as their incorrect guess work led to them eliminating two good singers early doors but, after the penultimate act proved to be a terrible singer, they were hoping their choice - Junior Doctor - would win them the money, having convinced them with clues about being on The X Factor and singing at Wembley.

Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for her, the Junior Doctor ended up going home with this week's £10,000 prize money after pulling the wool over everyone's eyes.

Her deception was revealed when she began singing along with Ronan on a duet of his number 1 single Life is a Rollercoaster and, Amanda Holden's jaw dropped at just how bad she was.

And Junior Doctor, real name Devon, didn't just shock the contestants and panel, who praised her for her performance skills despite her voice being horrendous, she also stunned viewers who rapidly hit mute on their TVs but delighted in her victory.

One tweeted: "Junior Doctor had me so fooled that I convinced myself I recognised her from The X Factor!" and another reacted: "My Eardrums #icanseeyourvoice Congratulations #JuniorDoctor on fooling and winning £10,000."

A third posted: "My Eardrums #icanseeyourvoice Congratulations #JuniorDoctor on fooling and winning £10,000," while others were delighted that NHS hero ended up going home with the money.
