I bought an £18 jumper from Asda and now I can't stop wearing it

Growing up I used to think getting clothes from supermarkets was ‘uncool’ and now I’ve realised, I was so wrong.

Recently, Asda in particular has stepped up its game in terms of fashion and I’m loving it.

I recently took a trip to my local Asda for a food shop and was amazed at the selection of knitwear - there was so much on offer.

Perhaps the one thing that stood out to me the most was the pop of colour in each of the pieces. Each jumper and cardigan had just the right amount of vibrancy, to the point where I didn’t know which one to pick.

That was when I saw it. It was perfect - a pink, white, orange and red multi-coloured thick turtleneck jumper.

It was a thing of beauty, and a very bold move from George at Asda in terms of colours, but it just worked.

I had to buy it but I’ll admit, I was a little uneasy at first because you never quite know with knitwear before trying it on.

Was it going to be itchy and uncomfortable? I had to wait and see but when I finally got home and tried it on, I was amazed.

The jumper was so incredibly soft, to the point where I could get away with not wearing anything underneath it and feeling comfortable.

It looked effortless, and with such bold colours it looked fierce paired with some blue or black jeans.

I can throw this jumper on and instantly feel brighter and more positive about my day. Why? Well, it’s bright, it’s got stunning colours, and most of all, it’s comfortable.

Whether you pair it with a red lip, a pink lip or a nude lip, I could even throw this jumper on with no makeup at all and look put together.

Granted, the colours aren’t to everyone's taste, but George at Asda has an amazing choice of knitwear at the moment so there’s bound to be something for everyone.

The best part? It was £18, and for a good quality soft jumper, that’s a really good price.

I've already had many compliments on the jumper, and I even joined a video call with a colleague who was wearing the exact same one.

So, it seems like teenage me was totally wrong. I will never say a bad word about supermarket clothes again, because I am so impressed.

You can purchase the jumper from George at Asda here , or from your local store.
