Chris Williams from Gorseinon had gone to buy a packet of tobacco from his local garage shop, but when he opened the packet he found something he hadn't expected.
Chris said he bought the 50g pouch of Amber leaf from CK stores in Gorseinon, costing him £28, on Monday evening.
But he said that after he got the item home and opened the sealed packet, instead of tobacco inside, there was a slice of white bread.

He said: "I was really annoyed by it because it’s a lot of money to lose when you spend £28 and don’t get the product you payed for, It's absolutely frustrating."
Chris said the same thing happened to a friend of his a few weeks ago but he didn't actually believe it until it he opened his tobacco and found the unexpected food item. And he is not the only person to find something strange in a shop bought item, this shopper found something so horrific in his curry that even Tesco called it 'the thing'.
After Chris realised what had happened he took the product straight back to the shop.
He said: "Me and my wife were shocked and when we retuned the packet the staff knew straight away as the same incident had happened the day before to someone else."
Similar incidents of bread being put in tobacco packets had also happened in other supermarkets he said.
But he said the incident had not put him off from buying buying tobacco from the CK's garage again, as he said the staff were really nice and he usually shopped there.
