Hypothetical trade between Ravens and Panthers could land Baltimore an elite pass rusher

The Baltimore Ravens will look for ways to improve their roster throughout the 2024 offseason, whether through free agency, trade, or the draft. Plenty has been made about how the team fell short in the AFC Championship game, and they need to make sure their roster stays intact as much as possible while adding in other players to help push them over the top.

When listing out hypothetical trades for all 32 NFL teams, the Bleacher Report scouting department revealed that they want to see Carolina Panthers outside linebacker Brian Burns in purple in black in Zach Orr’s defense. They proposed that Burns be moved to the Ravens for a 2024 first-round pick, a 2025 third-round pick, and edge rusher David Ojabo.

Burns fits Baltimore’s timeline better than Ojabo, being the much more accomplished player. Also, sending out first- and third-round picks is a steep price, but Burns is a blue-chip defender who would elevate everybody on the Ravens’ unit, as he has had 46 sacks throughout his five-year career.
