Epicures of Hyndland is closing for a £250k makeover - here’s a sneak peek at what's to come

Hyndland favourite Epicures is about to close - but it’s not all bad news, with a major makeover underway.

The west end restaurant was recently bought over by Oli Norman, joining the group including Brel, Jacques, Sloans, Maggies, The Griffin and - most recently - Nick’s across the road.

Epicures will close its doors on Monday (May 6) for renovations totalling £250,000 before a massive relaunch on Friday, May 24.

The team behind the relaunch say they’re on a mission to Make Epicures Great Again (M.E.G.A) with added indoor trees, a salad bar, cake goodness and a “new dinner experience”. Colour us intrigued!

The new menu will be revealed next week, so we’re keeping our eyes peeled for more info - but if the initial drawings are anything to go by then Hyndland is in for a treat.
