Hyderabad: Woman arrested for killing baby

HYDERABAD (Person) Police

HYDERABAD: A woman was taken into custody by Jagathgirigutta police on Sunday for allegedly killing her 50-days-old baby girl. Police came to know about the baby’s body being recovered from a water sump on Tuesday. The baby’s grandmother lodged a police complaint raising suspicion about the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

Police took the couple into custody and on further interrogation it was revealed that Jyothi had killed her daughter. She claimed that she killed her baby due to financial problems.
