HYDERABAD: Traffic was disrupted and mild tension prevailed near Attapur on Saturday after locals spotted a crocodile near Musi.
Forest officials said the crocodile was in its habitat and there was no reason to panic.
“Musi is a natural habitat for crocodiles. The reptile came out to the river bank to bask in the sun which is natural behaviour. We don’t intend to disturb the animal as it does not pose any danger,” Shamshabad forest range officer Shyam Kumar told TOI.
