Hyderabad: Man set ablaze by wife, mother-in-law, succumbs

HYDERABAD: A 28-year-old car driver, who was set ablaze by his wife and her mother on August 13, succumbed to burns at Gandhi Hospital on Saturday.

Malkajgiri police said that the victim, D Nani, was subjecting his wife, D Anitha to domestic harassment.

Unable to put up with the torture, Anitha along with her mother, Tirupathamma, resorted to the extreme step.

Malkajgiri police altered the section of the case from attempt to murder to murder on Saturday.
