Hyderabad man drowns in Krishna river

Hyderabad Krishna (Location) VIJAYAWADA (Person) Guntur

VIJAYAWADA: A man from Hyderabad died after he drowned in Krishna river at Sitanagaram in Guntur district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Naga Sai (22) who came to visit Kanaka Durga temple. After having darshan at the temple, he, along with others, went to Sitanagaram which is on the other side of the river. He entered water for a swim but drowned.

Cops booked a case under section 174 of CrPC and are investigating the case.
