Husband's viral rant asking if there is a 'crisis support helpline' for wife's Aldi obsession

A 'concerned' husband has taken to Facebook to ask for help dealing with his wife's Aldi obsession.

Adam Smith shared an image of his wife stood outside their home alongside a plea asking his followers if there was a "crisis support line" he could call.

His post said: "My wife is outside in the rain taking pictures in her Aldi rain boots.

"I'm starting to believe there might be some sort of Aldi Derangement Syndrome associated with shopping there.

"She just brought home a mountain of kids pajamas and pickles she won’t stop talking about. Is there a crisis support line I can call relating to her Aldi’s obsession?"

The post was shared earlier this week and already has more than 1,000 comments and 12,000 reactions.

Users have been quick to leave comments in the post. One said: "Just showed this to my husband because I was laughing so hard. After reading he said 'I might get in contact with this guy' #husbandsofaldiaddicts."

Another said: "This just made my day."

And, a third added: "I hear there is no cure."

Others shared photos of the Special Buys they've managed to get hold of in the comments too.

This isn't the first time someone has taken to Facebook to rant about Aldi - last year one Mum took to mumsadvice to issue a furious warning to shoppers advising them to "never" shop at Aldi.
