A husband and wife duo from Altrincham have launched a plastic-free subscription box for eco-friendly bathroom products.
Lee and Zoe Shelton launched the Zed Bees service in December to help make it easier for people to have an eco-friendly lifestyle.
The boxes, priced at £10 and delivered on a monthly basis, include eco-friendly, vegan, natural and low-waste alternatives to products including toothpaste, shampoo, soap and body loofahs.
Mr Shelton said: “Sustainability shouldn’t be difficult and it certainly shouldn’t be about sacrificing quality, price or ease.
“It’s a quick and simple way for everyone to immediately reduce the amount of plastic in their bathroom without requiring a lot of effort.”
He continued: “Knowing that the idea of not using plastics, not wasting anything and doing everything from a base of caring for the planet is deeply rewarding.
“It’s even more rewarding to see how using eco-friendly products is becoming the norm for our children.
“It’s exciting to think that buying plastic-free will be ingrained in them from an early age as opposed to having to make conscious swaps like our generation.”
