A husband and wife team have launched a new Scottish estate agency with a focus on personal service and innovative technology.
Former Rettie & Co managing partner Patrick Paton and his wife, property marketing specialist Celia Paton, have created the new business from their home in the Borders.
Patrick is an industry veteran, having held senior roles with Knight Frank and Smiths Gore before he became a partner at Rettie & Co.
Celia previously led the marketing team at McEwan Legal, before establishing a concierge company and a holiday home management business.
Patrick said: “Instead of a shop window, we will provide enhanced online marketing, which makes perfect sense when 95% of home buyers start their house search online.
“A year ago, we might have been looking for office premises, but recent events have highlighted the possibilities of working from home and using technology more effectively to allow a better work-life balance.”
Celia added: “Our new website carries property details, selling tips and advice, but we go a step further by sharing personal insights from well-known figures living in each area - buyers get to see the property and gain an insight into the lifestyle that comes with it.”
Paton & Co lists properties on Rightmove, Zoopla. Prime Location and OnTheMarket, as well using location app What3Words to help potential buyers find the exact location for sale more easily.
