A man has been remanded in custody after pleading guilty to the attempted murder of his wife after she scooped £5.5 million on the lottery.
Stephen Gibbs, 45, initially denied attempting to kill his wife Emma Brown at their home on January 30, reports WalesOnline.
Ms Brown was allegedly stabbed in the face by the defendant.

The couple lived at their £700,000 cottage in Lakeside, Barry.
They have reportedly been together for 11 years and previously owned a home in another part of Barry which they rented out after Ms Brown scooped her win.
Appearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Monday, Gibbs was due to stand trial for attempted murder but he changed his plea to guilty.
Solicitor-Advocate Derrick Gooden, for Gibbs, asked for sentencing to be adjourned.
Addressing the defendant, Judge Richard Twomlow said: "You have now pleaded guilty to the offence of attempted murder, a serious offence.
"I ask for a pre sentence report and I am told there's a psychiatric report. You face a lengthy prison sentence, you must be aware of that."
Mr Gibbs will appear for sentencing at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on October 8.
