'Hurt them' - Nottingham Forest verdict delivered by Huddersfield boss Danny Cowley

Huddersfield Town boss Danny Cowley has given his verdict on Nottingham Forest ahead of today's Sky Bet Championship encounter between the two sides.

The Reds take on the Terriers at the John Smith's Stadium (3pm) in their final Sky Bet Championship match before Christmas.

Huddersfield are fifth from bottom - four points clear of the relegation zone.

Forest are just outside the play-off places, though have not won in four matches.

Last weekend, they were thumped 4-0 at home by Sheffield Wednesday.

"Forest had an excellent start to the season and have had a more difficult period just recently," Cowley told Examiner Live.

"No doubt they will be highly motivated off the back of a disappointing result last Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday.

"I think they have goals in their team, they can use the 4-2-3-1 or the 4-3-3 formation - against Millwall they used 3-5-2 and changed that buy, generally, they have been 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3.

"They like to get control of possession, they want to try to dominate the ball, but they also carry a threat on the counter attack.

"Certainly with the ball, they are one of the best teams in the division.

"Our challenge is to try and find some weaknesses in their structures and their organisation so that we can hurt them come Saturday afternoon."
