Hurricane Zeta makes landfall along coast of Yucatan peninsula: NHC

Hurricane Zeta has made landfall along the coast of the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico, north of Tulum, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Monday.

Zeta, located about 15 miles (25 kilometers) north north-east of Tulum, Mexico and packing maximum sustained winds of 80 miles (130 km) per hour, is expected to reach the U.S. Gulf coast by Wednesday.
