Huntingdon claims the Race2win.com Deccan Colts Championship Stakes

Trainer Leo D’Silva’s colt Huntingdon, ridden by S. Saqlain, won the Race2win.com Deccan Colts Championship Stakes (Gr. 3), the main attraction of Sunday’s (Sept. 3) races.

The winner is owned by Mr. Vazhaparmbil John Joseph & Mr. Bharat Venkat Epur.

S. Saqlain, who confidently kept his mount in fifth position till the bend, quickly took charge in the straight to surprise the first favourite Synthesis and won the race by 1-1/4 lengths.
