
Just 10 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the Hunter New England area.
Lake Macquarie had the most in the Wednesday update with four, followed by MidCoast with three, Moree Plains with 2 and Newcastle with one.
Four of the new cases were infectious in the community and eight of them are linked.
The new figures bring the total active cases across the district to 353.
There are four active cases in hospital, including one in intensive care.
Across the state, there were 251 new cases of COVID recorded and no new deaths.
This fully vaccinated woman is now isolating at home, but had been to various venues in Wyong, Toukley, Wadalba, Ryde and Parramatta on Friday and Saturday.
NSW Health has listed those places as exposure sites. They include an Aldi supermarket at Toukley, KFC at Wyong and various shops at Westfield Parramatta.
This woman was an overseas traveller, who had recently arrived in NSW.
There are currently 154 people in NSW hospitals with COVID-19, including 25 needing intensive care.
