Hunter Biden says father’s prostate cancer has spread to his bones

  • Hunter Biden, son of the 46th US President Joe Biden, has admitted that his presidential pardon was “not good” for America, the Constitution, or his father's reputation.
  • He was granted clemency in 2024 after being convicted of three federal gun charges and pleading guilty to nine federal tax charges.
  • In a BBC Newsnight interview, Mr Biden defended his father's decision, saying: “What would you have thought of my dad if he did not do that for me?"
  • Mr Biden also spoke emotionally about his father's “painful” battle with prostate cancer, which has “metastasised into his bones and further“.
  • He described his father as “the centre of our family”, praising him as “the best father, the best husband, the best grandfather”.
