Hunted producers 'really keen' for Bristol contestants to apply as they extend deadline

Producers for hit-series Hunted are 'really keen' for Bristol contestants to apply for the next season as they extend their deadline.

The dramatic reality TV show is now one of  Channel 4’s  most-loved programmes, with an average of 2.5 million viewers.

During the tense series, contestants have to evade being caught by the hunters which include former police and military personnel, who have access to surveillance tools including CCTV  number plate recognition and call tracing.

This year's season started in Bristol.

Originally, the deadline for applications was the end of last month but that has now been pushed back until March 8.

A spokesperson said they were 'really keen to hear' from people living in Bristol.

They said: "The series will follow a number of volunteers as they try to go off grid and become a fugitive in the UK, whilst trying to evade capture from a team of expert trackers.

"They could be going it alone or with friends, family or colleagues. A prize of £100,000 will be shared equally between the fugitives who successfully evade capture.

Do you think you have what it takes to challenge the Hunters and evade capture? If so you could be in with a chance of winning a share of £100,000. "
