Hunt to find man who breached prison license six weeks ago

A search has been launched to find a 29-year-old man who breached the terms of his licence after being released from prison.

Steven Malarkey was last seen on Saturday, April 20 after being released from HMP Shotts and is known to frequent the areas of Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and Glasgow.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

He is described as white, around 6ft of medium build with brown hair.

Inspector Colin Shearer, Kilmarnock Police Station said: "We are currently looking to trace Steven Malarkey, who has breached his licence conditions since being released from HMP Shotts, and we are appealing to anyone who has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward and contact us."
