It’s been a few months since Hunt: Showdown last saw any major content updates, but that drought is finally over as patch 1.8.1 is upon us. This unique PvPvE shooter has garnered a solid player base that appreciates the slower-paced hunts compared to the all-out chaos of a full battle royale.
This update does away with the traditional daily & weekly challenge system in favour of a brand new quest system dubbed ‘Summons’. It also adds new weapons, new enemies, and a laundry list of bug fixes. Fans of Hunt: Showdown can rest easy knowing that the developers aren’t abandoning this game anytime soon, at least not until a potential sequel, and they’ll have new content coming their way for ages to come.
