Hunt launched for pervert who exposed himself in Queen's Park in broad daylight

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself and carried out an indecent act in Queen's Park.

The shocking incident occurred around 2pm yesterday afternoon.

Officers attended and carried out a full search of the area, however there was no trace of the man.

Police say the woman who reported seeing the man was left distressed by the incident.

He is described as of Asian appearance, aged between 25 to 35 years of age and wearing a turquoise coloured top with blue jeans and a black coat. He had a goatee beard and wore an earring in his right ear.

Detective Inspector Craig McPhail said: “This is a busy park and the woman who reported seeing this man was distressed by this incident. She was approached by another woman who also seen him but she had left the park before police arrival and I would ask her to contact us.

“We are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace this man as soon as possible I would urge anyone with information that will assist our investigation to contact officers through 101 quoting reference 2212 of 23 January.

"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
