Police are hunting two masked thugs who slashed a man's arm in a brutal attack near Glasgow .
The pair, who had their faces covered, seriously assaulted the 29-year-old using a bladed weapon in a stairwell within Rutherglen's Springhall Court around 9.30pm on Monday December 2.
The victim was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with a serious injury to his arm.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have information over the attack.
Both suspects were wearing dark clothing. One had a balaclava covering his face and the other had a scarf covering his face.
Detective Constable Derek Young, of Cambuslang CID, said: "I'm appealing to anyone who saw two men matching these descriptions or acting suspiciously around that area of Rutherglen to contact us."
