Hunt launched for man and woman in connection with suspicious car fire in Drumchapel

CCTV footage has been released of a man and woman police want to speak to after a car was torched in Drumchapel.

Police and fire crews raced to a business premises in Dalsetter Avenue at around 10:10pm on Wednesday December 4 last year after a car had been set ablaze. No one was injured.

Officers investigating the incident are treating it as suspicious.

DC Paul O'Donnell, of Drumchapel CID, said: “We believe that the man and woman may be able to assist us with our investigation and I would urge them to come forward.

"This fire resulted in the car being completely destroyed and we are appealing for any information to catch those responsible.

“I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time of this fire to contact police."
