Hunt launched for man after 'sex attack' on girl, 12, in swimming pool

Police are hunting for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl in a swimming pool.

The alleged assault took place between 12.30 and 1pm on February 11, at Leicester Leys Leisure Centre in Beaumont Leys.

The girl has claimed the man approached her in the pool. As he swam past her, he pulled her bikini bottoms away from her body, she said.

It was also believed that the man spoke to the victim's friend, who wa also at the pool, in a sexual manner.

Detective Constable Thomas Radley, who was investigating the incident, said: “As part of our enquiries, we would like to identify this man.
