An Irishman has issued a plea to the public to help him find a motorist who saved his daughter while she was having a seizure by delivering first aid.
Peter McCormack took to social media last night to tell the incredible story.
On Sunday evening, Peter's partner was driving with their daughter Evie on the Ballyowen Road when the child starting having a seizure.
Peter explained: "She stopped the car and panicked, took Evie out not knowing what was happening. Thankfully, a man was behind in his partner's car and was first aid trained and took Evie and carried out all the right measures to get her to come back around breathing and responding."
However, the hero of the moment ins unkown, as neither Peter nor his partner managed to get his name.
Peter continued: "I didn't manage to get the guys name, but I'd love to find him to thank him personally. His partner was driving a Nissan Qashqai, he had fair coloured hair so if anyone happens to to know him or can help locate him it would be greatly appreciated. Not only did he do everything to keep my daughter going he was doing everything to keep Danni calm in a scary situation. I'm guessing he is from the Lucan/Clondalkin area.
"Also thank you to the women who phoned the ambulance for us - and everyone else who stopped to offer assistance!" he concluded.
Since last night, Peter's tweet has been retweeted over 100 times, but there's no sign of the hero just yet.
