Hunt for woman who ‘burst into train driver's cabin in fury over delays'

A woman flew into a fury at the delayed state of a train and attempted to barge her way into the driver's cabin.

British Transport Police are hunting for the woman after she allegedly began raging as the train sat at Hucknall station in Nottinghamshire.

She is accused of forcing her way into the driver's cabin and then ranting about the fact the train was stationary.

It is believed the irate passenger then shouted abuse at the railway worker in a bid to get the service moving.

A spokesperson for BTP said: "Officers believe the woman in the images may have information that could help their investigation.

"Anyone who knows her is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 and quoting reference number 678 of 29/06/19."

BTP enjoyed a success at the end of July when officers caught a man urinating outside Worcester railway station.

The man was told to scrub up his urine (@BTP3Counties/Twitter)

Unimpressed by the daylight ablution right next to the open station toilet, the cops handed the man a mop and bucket and told him to get scrubbing.

"Today's top tip!" BTP tweeted.

"If you decide to urinate on 1 of our stations then expect to be given a mop & bucket to clean up after yourself, whilst being supervised."
