Hunt for suspected road rage killer who 'stabbed teen before fleeing in UK-plated car'

Police in Spain are hunting a suspected road rage killer who allegedly stabbed a teenager before fleeing in a UK-plated car.

The Mercedes driver is said to have stabbed his Spanish victim after the teenager reprimanded him for nearly running him over at a zebra crossing.

The victim, named only as a cinema worker called Ulrich, was pronounced dead at the scene after being stabbed in the heart at around 2.30pm on Wednesday.

The knife attack occurred outside The Diana Centre in an area known as Diana Park off the dual carriageway running between the Costa del Sol resorts of Marbella and Estepona.

Ulrich is understood to have been heading back from a local supermarket to the home he shared with his parents and two siblings opposite the murder scene when he was attacked.

Local reports said one of the people who went to his aid was his mum.

Police have confirmed they have yet to make any arrests.

But a well-placed source said detectives were hunting a “well-built blond” man witnesses said had fled in a right-hand drive white Mercedes with a UK number plate.

The suspect is thought to have been with a woman passenger.

One local report said the fatal stabbing occurred following a short row after Ulrich complained the Mercedes driver had been going too fast and had nearly run him over as he stepped onto the zebra crossing.
