Hunt for man with buggy who punched passenger in face on Piccadilly Line during rush hour

Police are searching for a man who punched a fellow passenger on the Picadilly Line during rush hour.

A man got on the Tube at Hounslow Central between 8.20am and 8.40am on March 31 and asked a fellow passenger to move bags from a seat and a buggy blocking the carriage.

But the passenger refused and instead attacked the man and punched him in the face.

The suspect then got off the train at Knightsbridge, the British Transport Police (BTP) explained.

The BTP are now appealing for witnesses. The suspect is described as black, with dreadlock hair, wearing a grey tracksuit.

He had been travelling with a woman with a buggy and a suitcase.

Anyone with information or who may have seen the incident is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 116 of 31 March.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
