Hunt for man who made ‘highly sexual comments’ to woman on train between Partick and Cambuslang

Police are hunting a man who made 'highly sexual comments' to a woman on a train between Partick and Cambuslang.

On Friday June 19 between 4:40pm and 4:50pm, a woman boarded a train at Argyle Street station, when a man, believed to have boarded at Partick station, struck up a conversation with her.

During the conversation, it is reported the man subjected the woman to inappropriate comments of a highly sexual manner, causing her to feel extremely uncomfortable.

The man alighted the service at Cambuslang station.

British Transport Police are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident

He is described as a white male of a slim build, aged between 30 and 40 with short brown hair. At the time of the incident, he was reported to be wearing blue shorts and jacket and a black cap, carrying a black rucksack and riding a dark-coloured mountain bike.

Anyone who has any information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.
