Police are desperately hunting for a young man who escaped a mental health facility today.

Ronnell Dennis, 26, left Riverside Centre in Hillingdon, west London, shortly after another patient was assaulted and left in a critical condition.

Now Met Police officers are concerned for Mr Dennis' safety and that of others.

Superintendent Duncan Slade, from West Area CID, said: “Dennis may be suffering from a mental health crisis and could behave in an unpredictable manner.

“If you have seen him since Sunday March 1 or know of his whereabouts please do not approach him but dial 999 immediately.

Police say Mr Dennis left Riverside Centre in Hillingdon, London, and was seen in nearby Wembley (SWNS)

“If you wish to pass on information anonymously please contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

The man is described as black, around 6ft 2ins tall and of a proportionate or athletic build.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing black clothing and a black bandana.

Mr Dennis has links to west and north London as well as the Home Counties.

He was last seen in the Chalk Hill Estate in Wembley Park, northwest London at around 10.15pm on Sunday evening.

Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach him but to call 999 immediately, quoting a reference of CAD3532/2MAR2020.
