Hunt for man masturbating on Glasgow Queen Street train as police release description

Police investigating a report of a man seen masturbating on a train heading for Glasgow Queen Street have released a description of the culprit.

A woman who had been travelling on the service - which had departed Edinburgh Waverley - noticed a man sat at a window seat on a row of seats. The man was masturbating while watching a video on his phone.

The incident took place around 6.50pm on Tuesday, July 19 as the train was travelling between Polmont and Falkirk High.

The man is described as white, of medium build, and between 20 and 30 years of age. He had dark shaved hair in a buzzcut, stubble, and was wearing a tight white top and and light coloured trousers.

Officers from British Transport Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with them to assist the investigation.
