Hunt for man after woman allegedly sexually assaulted on bus

A man is being hunted by police after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted on a bus.

Merseyside Police has issued CCTV images of a man they are wanting to speak to following a report of sexual touching on the bus.

A woman was on the number 13 bus in Liverpool city centre, heading towards Stockbridge Village around midnight on Thursday, August 12 when a man got on the bus.

CCTV footage shows the man sat next to the woman and went on to touch her inappropriately.

The man is believed to have left the bus in the Huyton area, were police patrols were later deployed to but the man was unable to be traced.

Police have issued CCTV images of a man who they believe could assist with the investigation.
