Police want to hear from a bystander who may have footage of a woman being attacked on Easter Road.
The 23-year-old victim was crossing the road at around 3.45pm on Friday, 15 November when a woman jumped out a car and assaulted her. Officers say the culprit exited her vehicle, ran at the victim and pushed her to the ground, causing minor injuries.
Police say that their enquiries have revealed that a woman standing nearby witnessed the whole thing and may have taken a photo or video of the incident.
Edinburgh Police Division add: "We are especially keen to trace this witness as officers believe she may have vital information that could assist their investigation.
"If you have any information that can help identify this woman, or any other information about the assault, please contact police on 101, quoting reference number 2659 of 15 November 2019."
