Hunt after woman sexually assaulted in store near Bristol

CCTV images have been released of a man police want to track down after a woman was sexually assaulted.

The victim was touched inappropriately in a retail store in the North Worle Shopping Centre, in Queensway, at approximately 2pm on Wednesday (July 21).

A stranger approached the woman and touched her inappropriately from behind. He was later seen leaving the area in a black Kia, which had red trade licence plates attached.

He’s described as white, in his 30s, of medium build and with ginger facial hair. He was wearing a dark baseball cap and T-shirt at the time.

A force spokesperson said: "We’re investigating an incident where a woman was sexually assaulted in North Somerset.

"Witnesses, or anyone who recognises the man, should call police on 101 and give reference number 5221165290."
