Hungry horse seen waiting patiently for his order at McDonalds drive-thru in viral TikTok

A hungry horse was spotted waiting for his lunch in the back of a car as stunned McDonalds staff had an unexpected drive-thru customer.

The TikTok clip sees the animal appearing to nod as his owner explains why he was there in a video titled 'Only in Australia'.

The happy horse called Rocco sits patently in the the backseat of a car - but it's not a burger he craved.

As the woman places her order to a team member, another customer winds down her window to ask 'is that a horse in your car?'

Smiling, the driver replies: "He's excited for his ice cream!"

But Rocco didn't want a burger - only ice cream! (@dondonthedon26/TikTok)

The special guest appeared at the branch in Wyong, a town on the Central Coast of New South Wales.

Donna Bevan posted the footage on the social media platform and it went viral with nearly a million views.

Some commented on the clip demanding to see a 'part 2' of the patient horse scoffing its ice cream.

"That's what you call one horse power," one joked.

Another wrote: "Australia is built different. But I love it here."

A couple of Brits may use this tactic in the future after a stand-off with McDonald's staff after they were refused service after turning up to a drive-thru on a horse and cart.

Two lads believe they were the victims of a 'mis-carriage of justice' - but they still managed to get a burger in the end.

They pulled into a branch in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, and attempted to place an order at the tannoy.

People demanded a part two of the horse getting his ice cream (@dondonthedon26/TikTok)

But they were told their vehicle wasn't allowed before things turned tense as they started shutting the ordering windows.

The McDonald's workers even threatened to call the police if the pair didn't leave despite making a 'decent' argument for why they should be served.

But one person has defied this rule as they rocked up to a McDonald's restaurant in East London on a horse, riding the stallion through the drive-thru to make a huge order.

Posting to TikTok to showcase their grand entrance, the horse-rider posted footage of himself ordering 100 chicken nuggets from the beloved fast food chain.

The man, who posted under the handle @theblessedequestrian on TikTok, captioned the clip: "After our hack we got hungry, so I went to get 100 chicken nuggets".

In the footage, the huge horse gallops towards the drive-thru window while its rider places his order - they then ride over to the next window to collect his huge bag brimming with McNuggets.

One person told him: "Could of got a carrot bag for your ride bro".
