Hamilton ace Andy Ryan gobbled up the chance to fire Accies to victory over Queen of the South - but now he owes team-mate Josh Mullin lunch.
The striker climbed off the bench to land the vital goal in Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Queen of the South when he poked home Mullin's goal-bound shot in the 75th minute.
Former Livingston midfielder Mullin joked post match that he "owes him lunch" after denying him a first goal of the season.
But hungry Ryan insisted he was only making sure it found the net with a backtracking Queens defender closing in.
Ryan, who took his tally for the season to five goals, said: “I wasn’t sure it was going in, so I wanted to make sure.
"Ask any striker and I'm sure they would do the same.

“I’m there when needed. I knew going on it was a tight game and we'd get one more chance and luckily enough I managed to tap it in.
“I didn’t train much before the game because I'd been struggling with my hamstring from Saturday. I spoke to the manager and made myself available but he said he wasn’t going to risk me.
“That was the wise thing to do and he took that decision out of my hands.
"He said he’d put me on the bench and if he needed me he would put me on.
"In an ideal world, you'd love to get a goal early on and settle into the game, but we got it in the last 15 minutes. It should give the boys confidence going into Saturday.
"The stage we've been at the last couple of weeks, it was just good to get the three points."
Accies are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Morton.
