Crowds of skiers and snowboarders stripped down to their swimwear before hitting the slopes in the Siberian sunshine.
More than 1,500 people took part in the ritual at the Grelka festival in the region of Kermerovo to mark the end of winter.
Snow lovers from all over the world flew over to join in the fun - with people coming from as far away as Canada and Uganda.
It is the seventh year running that people have flocked to the mountains to enjoy the festival - which takes place for 10 days from the first weekend of April.

Despite the snow temperatures hit 15C as hundreds of skiers in colourful swimwear brightened up the slopes for the "swimsuit descent".
More than 10,000 people attended the festival and enjoyed a range of skiing and music events including competitions and karaoke nights.

Organisers have described the setting as perfect, saying: "The sun is like Thailand, the snow is like in Austria, the party is like in Ibiza!".
Sheregesh is Siberia's most developed downhill skiing resort - situated in the Gornaia Shoria region of the Altai mountain range.
