Gardai have found hundreds of shotgun cartirdges after a large search in a West Dublin park yesterday.
Gardai targeting crime in Corduff unveiled the haul in Westway Woods near a spot they had previously recovered a loaded shotgun believed to be linked to the feud.
Over 200 cartridges were found with Superindenent Liam Carolan saying the seizure will help gardai stop help stop criminals from intimidating locals.
He said: “The recovery of this ammunition is another example of the current successful Garda strategy of removing guns and ammunition from the streets thereby reducing their ability to intimidate the local community. These operations will continue for the foreseeable future in the area.”
A garda spokesperson said: "As part of an ongoing operation targeting criminality in the Corduff area, a planned search by Blanchardstown Gardaí was carried out on Monday 24th June 2019 in Westway Woods, Dublin 15.
"Two bags containing over 200 shotgun cartridges were located in dense undergrowth."
