Hundreds of pubs giving away free drinks this month

This month, pub goers can get their hands on a voucher that will give them free drinks at over 700 pubs in England and Wales.

As seen on MoneySavingExpert, the deal gives you a voucher for a free second drink when you buy a beer, cider or gin.

The free drink must be the same drink that you’ve paid for, and the voucher will need to be shown via a smartphone or tablet.

Pub goers must register their details on Great British Pubs to get the 2 for 1 drinks, with a range of different alcoholic and soft drinks available.

Depending on what’s available at your pub, the "free drinks" available include:

• Corona Extra

• Stella Artois

• Budweiser

• Pepsi Max

• Guinness

• Hop House 13

• Gordon's Gin & Tonic (flavours vary by pub)

• Heineken

• Kronenbourg 1664

• Amstel

• Foster’s

• Strongbow

• Strongbow Dark Fruit

• John Smith's Extra

• SmoothHeineken 0.0%

• Coors Light

• Carling

• Sharp’s Doom Bar

• Carlsberg

• San Miguel

• Madri

• Coca-Cola

• Coke Zero

• Diet Coke

• Schweppes Lemonade

The deal is valid until 11:59pm on Sunday, March 27, but will end sooner if the free drinks are snapped up quickly.

There is a maximum of 100 free drinks allocated to each pub, but you’re not always guaranteed a free drink.

You’ll have to take your phone or tablet to your chosen pub and have the voucher redeemed by a staff member (if all 100 haven’t gone) to secure your freebie.

Pubs will be removed from the postcode search option once their allocation has been claimed, so you'll need to be quick.
